Check time before creating the invoice
An integration is most useful when the source records are right. Your team records hours against a milestone or task. With time approval, a responsible colleague checks the entries before they are used for invoicing.

Exact Online, Globe and Compact use different workflows
Exact Online: the integration transfers sales invoices with line items and VAT treatment and links customers to existing accounting records.
Exact Globe and Exact Compact: these use an import file. This is a different workflow from the Exact Online integration; agree on the export and import setup for your installation.

- Choose an existing customer. Check that the correct accounting record is linked.
- Prepare a representative draft. Include the types of hours, rates and additional costs your agency normally uses.
- Review the invoice. Check the lines, amounts and VAT treatment before finalising.
- Verify the result in Exact. Ask the person responsible for accounting to confirm that the data has arrived as intended.

Can we use existing customer records in Exact?
Yes. Customers are linked to records already held in your accounting system. Check those relationships during setup.
Does Exact Globe work in the same way?
No. Exact Online uses an integration, while Globe and Compact use an import-file workflow.
Is this the same as sending invoices through Peppol?
No. The Exact integration supports accounting. Peppol is a separate structured e-invoicing workflow; sending through Peppol requires your own Access Point subscription.
